Here is a tricky one. 
There are some occasions when your board is plenty waxed but you would want to re-wax it.  Can you guess when?

Answer correctly and get stoked.

Maybe when you are going on a long trip to the place you always wanted to go and you want to have your board perfect.

Or maybe when the wax on your board is designed for a different temperature than what you will be riding in.

Thats a good question.  Just guessing: i bet its better to do it at the beginning so its fresh   You should start a new topic though.

this is probably a retard question but waxing is to fill in little abrasions and make everything killer smooth on the bottom.. but that wouldnt be necessary if your board was brand new right?

If it comes pre waxed, no.  I know burtons come pre waxed.
Frosty might be able to corect me though

Some people say always wax, no matter what; but (as Josh correctly stated) my latest Burton board came pre-waxed and it was a really nice wax job.  Very impressive!  I guess you gotta call em as you see em.

I`ve got my wax done when i bought my new board and went for 5 to 6 runs. Planning to go for another trip and maybe 9 to 10 runs. I don`t  have hot wax so, do rub-on wax is enough? otherwise do I eve need to wax at all?

It really depends on how the board looks.  I suggest to take it to the shop at the Mountain and chat with the employees there.  They should be happy to look it over with you and point out any signs of dryness and suggest appropriately from there.
