Welcome!  Nice looking board there.  If you have been snowboarding for 9 years, why so long until you finally buy a board.  You do not go very often? Looks like you are into gaming too!

Yeah, I go once or twice a year so it just seemed easier to rent.  Much to my blindness lol.The xbox 360s are my roomies.  But techincally one of them is mine now ( he was too lazy to send it in to get fixed for free since it had the red ring of death and I did and now it's basically mine now. )I have a pretty good computer setup too if you guys are into that stuff too.  ( /  i built myself)Anyway.  my main question is:I want to wax it /  do the edge thing and stuff before i go snowboarding      Feb. 13th -16th at Redlodge, MT.I've been looking at these two pages and then a bunch of videos on youtube, etc etc etc.  to try to decide what to buy to wax/  maintain my board.http://www.bettersnowboarding.com/snowboardtuneguide.html

I would like to see that wax scraper catcher thing in a video to see how/if it actually works as intended. The Dakine kit looks really nice.If you have the time, space, patience, and money to learn tuning yourself then sure, go for it.  If not, have a shop do it.  The guys there can do a better job than you and I can, lets face it they do so many they are really good!

Well I'd like to wax my board before I go on my trip so that's the main reason I want to do it myself.  ( so i don't have to waste time having the shop do it when I could be snowboarding ).I live in North Dakota and there's no ski shop near me at all…  so that's why I can't just bring it to a shop before the trip…?Also, I'm wondering what all I need ….  :/Should I get the stuff that I have in my cart @ tactics or should I just go for the Dakine Kit?

Good question.  Either choice is good.  I lean towards the kit since it includes everything you need for basic tuning and probably comes with a manual for tuning tips.

I cant really answer that last question (dont an edge toool and pocket stone do the same thing tho?)But btw you prollly shouldnt need the base cleaner as far as i know since you just bought the snowboard.  Ive heard its not good for the base either (someone correct me if im wrong

I don't think so.  I thought and edge tool made a beveled edge on ;your snowboard.  a pocket stone just smoothed stuff out..?
