Not really a lot. The mountains aren't really very high. We get the odd weekends, this is the closest slopes to me. Not a massive resort, but it's enough for a day and they're really good about you building jumps and stuff!!

I will if we get enough snow again. At the moment there's just a light covering and artifical snow on the nursery slopes. Last year there was a good dump in March so I've still got my fingers crossed for more snowboarding! I'll be gutted if that was it for the season! Here's hoping for a long cold winter in Europe!

Hi again Sarah....so do you go riding in the highlands? I have a good friend who's sister lives in Scotland,  in Port of Mentieth...he visits there a lot and was telling me decent snowfall there is very rare, so they go to the "highlands" in Scotland to ride.  Just curious if that is sort of the place where most people go.

Yeah I live in Aberdeen which is right next to the Highlands in the NE of Scotland (the bit that sticks out towards Norway). There isn't really anywhere else to go. http://ski.visitscotland.com/ is where we get all our info although it's pretty optimistic. I don't know where Port of Mentieth is, I've not heard of it. We're kind of limited in choice there are only 5 resorts and they're tiny nothing like what you guys have! There are a few dry slopes but I'm a real thing girl!!!

Hey Rowan
Sorry I didn't reply for ages. We do normally get quite a bit of snow. We're pretty far north in Scotland!! I've posted (or tried to) my local piste maps so you can see what they're like. Nothing like the Alps but plenty playground!!!
