Would a size 12 boot need a mid wide or wide board?  And wat size binding would that size boot need?

I would say a wide board and an XL binding, but that is just generally speaking.  It REALLY DEPENDS on the manufacturer and what they consider to be “wide” or “XL”.  I also think that a big/tall person would further qualify the wide/XL more so than a smaller/lighter person with a size 12 foot.

Alright, well im 5'6 or 5'7 and prolly weigh 130-140 or so.  I used your snowboard size calculator and it says I should get  a 152 cm board.  That seems a bit long cuz i think a 148 would go right above my chin…  But either way, I looked at the Burton and Ride sites and for wide boards they pretty much only make them in the high 150s or 160s.  Wats up with that?  Are there any brands that make sizes like that?  Ya know 😉

I just looked at Burtons catalog again and they make one in 153 (and another in 154) but I still think that is a bit too long…

Yeh, you are going to want a bit of a lunch-tray.  I came up with a 150cm for all-around board for you.  I suggest a mid-wide, not a wide, so a waist width of 25.3 to 25.7would probably be right on.

“Lunch tray” means short and wide.In order to get into the width range you need, you are going to have to settle for at least a 153 or 154cm board.  Here are some boards you might like:BOARD NAME & LENGTH, WAIST WIDTHBurton King 153, 25.6cmBurton Warhol TWIN 154, 25.2cm (not Warhol Custom!)Rome Machine 154, 25.8cmForum Bully 145, 25.1cm
