Why are Forum boards so popular?
« on: August 21, 2009, 11:27:09 AM »
Well, I have to admit, I have never ridden a Forum snowboard before

I know people (like Travz) really like them, so why do people like them so much?  What makes them so popular?

I can tell you why I do, but I imagine everyone has a reason for liking the board company that they usually go with. I know my friend Jay only buys Ride stuff because of the bindings. Which I have to admit, if there was a Ride board I liked, I would probably switch over to them...

I liked them at first because of the silly graphics. But after riding the same one for years and riding demos when my board was in the shop getting tuned or shopping for a new one, I realized how spoiled I was riding something I was completely comfortable with, trusted, and just had a crazy good time riding. So when it came time for a new one, graphics were the last of my concern (well..kind of, their new graphics are pretty crappy minus Bob Ross, I just got lucky that every board I wanted was something I really liked graphically) and once again, Forum had a board that was at a good price, and seemed to be more technically advanced than most of the stuff out there construction wise. No btx or mtx, but a carbon fiber weave core and light weight stats made me fell in love.

But also, I have to give alot of credit to the original Forum 8. Watching alot of their videos really sold me on their boards.
