Toe/heel hang
« on: August 06, 2009, 07:49:03 PM »
Hey Everybody! hows it going? Ok so I bought a new board and boots online ( I tried the boots out in store) I got the board yesterday but the boots may not get to me for some time. My current boots are size 10 US and the ones I ordered are 9.5 US. I'm worried that the board might not be wide enough. Heres some links to pictures...what do you think? remember that I'll have a half size smaller boots eventually. They will be 9.5 US Thirty-Two Lashed boots if that helps at all.

Hey Bro, going great here!

Nice pics.  Doesn't look too bad to me.  I wouldn't forsee any problem unless you were in slush or really soggy soft-pack.  Of course it is going to ultimately depend on style of riding and personal preference, but unless you are a really heavy railer, you should be cool.

Ahh thank you. The new custom is a big step up from my old K2 satellite lol, I cant wait to ride! I honestly love doing it all, which is why I went with the custom in the first place. I plan to get the skatebanana or something similar during the coming season(depending on funds of course lol). But until that happens, if it does at all, the custom will be my only ride so I just wana make sure that it'll be ok to use everywhere. I dont plan on riding rails all day but I will be doing them, just like everything else on the hil! :D    Some people tell me its way to much toe and heel hang and some say its fine. Figured I'd ask here because I got most of my other info from reading the forums lol. So I definitely shouldnt return it and go for the 156 custom? which is only one millimeter wider anyway.
