Recommendations regarding Flow and Ride
« on: February 08, 2011, 10:54:35 PM »
Hello everyone, I have kind of an odd situation so bear with me: Right now I'm riding a Rossi Taipan and Rossi cobra bindings brand new this year and I like them a lot but after I bought them Flow bindings began to peek my interest. Today a friend of mine who is in search of his first board told me that he saw a Ride brand snowboard with Flow bindings at a used sports shop 45 minutes from my house for 80$, I called the store and they confirmed that they still had the board and bindings but couldn't tell me the model of either. Even though my setup is probably better, do you think its worth buying just to play around with and possibly adopt the Flows as my new bindings? I'm not very familiar with Flow or Ride so any insight would be great.

P.S I don't know if it matters, but I ride park 90% of the time.

Well, if the binding fits -- wear it.  So to speak.  I have an older Ride board with Flow bindings setup that I use for my "rock board" setup (pre-season and spring riding mainly).  Of course it will depend on the model, condition and size of the gear, but I think it is at least worth a look.

Thanks very much, it ended up being in too bad of condition to be worth it but I'm still going to try to find some used Flows.
