female rider looking for help
« on: February 16, 2009, 09:07:27 AM »
Hi. I’m female and I want to buy the new burton troop 146, but I’m not sure if the board waist width range is fine for me. I’m 5`11`` (178cm), weigh around 120 pounds and my shoe size is around 8 – 8.5 (burto boots for woman), bindings size M. I’m probably an intermediate rider and I want the board for freestyle.

The Burton Troop would be a really nice ride for you for freestyle.  Both length (shorter for maneuverability) and width (narrower for quick edge-to-edge transitioning and easy leveraging) should be just what you are looking for.  The Troop has the Infinite Ride technology that supposedly breaks the board in for you and preserves the poppiness and camber for the lifetime of the board.  Sounds NEAT!

That waist size should be right on.  No drag problems foreseen :)
