Buying First Set
« on: January 28, 2008, 03:50:26 PM »
I think it's time for me to buy my first set. I've rented enough times to know what I'm looking for. I'm definitely past the beginner stages, so here's what I picked. Please give me input on what I should change, or if this stuff is any good.

If it were me I would go with the Salomon board.  Cannot go wrong with Brigade boots.  Those bindings are really nice too and so are the Burton Missions.  If you DO happen to go with Burton bindings, be sure to oeder with the 4x4 hole pattern (not the Burton proprietal 3-hole).  You will have a nice rig these man.  ENJOY!

Cool thanks for the input man. Also I'm not dead set on the Salomon board. What would be the best board I could get for the 300 dollar price range?

Well, there are more nice boards out there than you can shake a ski pole at, so it's really hard to say just one.  Check out the Rossignol Sultan for a great value board.
