so ive been snowboarding about 10 times and am already going down blacks and im fine.... but everyone tells me im crazy..... so should i stick to blues and not challenge myself, or should i risk, which i love, and do blacks????

Once you get the basic technique and form it really is about confidence and comfort. It's all about your personal interest and motivation.
Just like your shouldn't let anyone force you into doing something your not comfortable with, you shouldn't allow people to hold you back. Just remember not to ride outside your ability.
Me, I have been riding maybe about two dozen times and the blacks out here scare the living bejesus out of me. Even some of the blues at the big resorts are very intimidating in spots.

its prob harder out on the east coast. im over here in oregon, and go frequently to mt.hood now i have a board. got it a couple days ago and i love it.....!!
