Per the calculator I fall into the 144 – 146 range, but the board that I am really interested in is the Rossignol Myth and I can only find it in stock in sized 143 and 148.  Currently I am on the heavier side and am losing weight, not sure which end of the spectrum I should pursue. I began riding with friends and they had helped me pick out a board.  I got a 156 Rider Impact.  I am having a really hard time with my toe side.  I am very comfortable on heal side and tend to just switch my lead feet when going down the mountain, I prefer my right foot leading though.  Also when riding toe side the front part of my lower legs is what kills me, not my calf's.  Any ideas on why or how to fix?  Sorry for the double question.

I think getting a smaller board, either one, will help a lot.  The Rossignol Myth is a nice looking board.  What is your boot size?  Maybe I can help you decide which of the two.

I am wearing a US size 8 boot, but my normal shoe size is 8.  I just double checked my boots and it looks like their men's, so their a little big, I had been wearing thick socks.

I went and bought boots that actually fit, they are a size 8.

So now you have size 8 women's boots?

Why I ask is that typically, Western US, Alps and larger mountains will have more snow and therefore a softer surface, in which case I would opt for the 146 (larger board).  Converse for the Eastern US and smaller mountains.
