2011 U.S. REVOLUTION TOUR WELCOMES FREERIDE SKIING!! The U.S. Revolution Tour is the top junior event tour in the country.
The Tour brings together athletes across the country to identify the top juniors in halfpipe, slopestyle, and cross events. Athletes 13 and older compete in open class halfpipe and slopestyle events, and athletes 15 and older compete in snowboardcross and skicross open class events. The U.S. Revolution Tour is also used to qualify athletes for U.S. Grand Prix, World Juniors, U.S. Open, U.S. World Cup, USASA Nationals and Project Gold camps.
The U.S. Revolution Tour started in 2003 to bridge the gap from grassroots competition to the elite level. In its 7th season the U.S. Revolution Tour welcomes freeride skiing to all four stops on Tour! This year the Tour kicks off in
Copper Mountain, CO in December, then heads to the northwest in January and
Mt. Hood Meadows, OR. In February, the Tour stops in
Boreal, CA and then jumps all the way to the east coast for the final stop in
Mount Snow, VT. The Event has sold out every year with a record number of athletes competing across the country and with the addition of freeride skiing the 2011 US Revolution Tour should be a huge success!
