2010 Burton US Open of Snowboarding
« on: March 15, 2010, 07:55:16 PM »
Listen up, I'll only say this once!

To our valued members...
What do you want to see from the US Open?
Well, this is your shot to be in command! I will be checking and updating
this post while shooting for Burton at the US Open! Thats right, I will
be doing my best to capture what YOU want to see.

RULES:
1. The photograph has to be feasibly possible. I'm not a rider at the open, so a
shot from the middle of the pipe of your favorite rider taking his run is NOT
possible.
2. It has to be posted asap so I can work on getting the shot. Posting it while
I'm out shooting will not get you the shot you want.

All else should be acceptable. I'm sure this is a snowboarding forum EXCLUSIVE,
so enjoy! This is only brought to you by Frosty Rider!

Hey Travz.  I would like to see a rider taking air and shot from the underside.  I love those kinds of pics.   THANKS!

Frosty:

Unfortunately I could not get this shot. I got ran off of the side of the course on slopestyle shortly
after I got into the position to shoot this exact shot. Not directly under the kicker, but easy off to the
side shot with a beautiful fisheye.

Here is one of the winner of slopestyle for '010:
Mikkel Bang

i have almost 25,000 (seriously) pictures to go through. I'll make a big post full of pictures shortly!
It was one crazy week. And anyone with any interest in the open at all, you need to go to this
absolutely.

Ok here is a photo update!

One of my favorite pictures up first. 1st round practice in pipe, the no grab corkscrew (open backflip 180)

Scotty Lago 1st Round Final

Kelly Clark 2nd Round Final and inches from being the 1st girl to land a 1080 in competition

Tomorrow (or soon), slopestyle, and the incredible Mikkel Bang "im going to double cork 1260 everything on the course, including the flatbox" run that scored a 98 out of 100!
