Girls Only - How Do You Wear Your Hair
« on: January 30, 2009, 02:50:00 PM »
This is a question for the girls only.  How do you do your hair when snowboarding? Is one way better than another? If so why? Does it make a big difference?

ooooooh i love this question!  I rock "pocahantas hair" when riding...braids!  I have a ton of hair and its long, i would like to be able to pull it back in a pony tail but it hurts in my helmet, and just looks weird with a hat on....If I don't do anything with my hair, just leave it down, it gets really wild by the end of the day.  The last time i rode without putting my hair in braids, at the end of the day my son told me my hair looked like a "cavewoman".    Nice....

So for me.....braids it is!

its usally low pig tails for me, if you wear them to high your helmet pushes on them and its uncomfortable and can be painful.  But unrestrained is not an option... I agree with rowan

I usually have long hair and it is CRAZY when I dont restrain it... I have it pretty short right now and the low ponies work well for that length too.

I like to leave it down, under a beanie or a hat, and let it get nasty. My hair isnt long enough to pull
off the "pocahantas" look. :( ;)

I stick mine in a pony table out the top of my ear warmer headband, but I'm going to try the pocahantas look!!!
