If you have a couple minutes of your life to waste, here is the story of how I came up with the idea for this thing:

OK, so I have been getting a LOT of questions on choosing a snowboard, like " What size snowboard do I need? " and I really like providing help with stuff like this, but it gets exhausting.  You first give me the details about your height, weight, experience level etc... and then I come back with even more questions, and back and forth it goes.  There are so many sizes to choose from.  Then there are so many brands like Burton, Forum, K2, Ride, etc...  Suggesting the right board to someone can become a really cumbersome process.

It is important to know the rider's height, weight, experience level, gender, boot size, and style of riding in order to help find the best size range for y'all.  I thought about making one of those corny snowboard size charts, but I knew I could come up with something better than that.  Those chart guides just suck and they aren't as accurate as they should be. 

I wanted to make something  that will suggest both snowboard length and width.  And also I wanted it to calculate all the factors mentioned above.  Nothing like it existed online that I could refer people to, so I taught myself how to program and made this thing.

Call it a snowboard sizing calculator, a snowboard size finder, a snowboard calculator, a snowboard sizer length thingie... whatever.  I don't care.  From beginner to professional rider, this tool can guide you to the right size stick.  Just give it a try.
